Meet Dr. Magazin

Dr. Maja Magazin is a board-certified ophthalmologist and fellowship-trained oculofacial plastic and reconstructive surgeon. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of South Florida before receiving her medical degree from Nova Southeastern University, where she graduated second in her medical school class. In recognition of her academic excellence, she received the Chancellor’s Award and was inducted into the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. Dr. Magazin completed her ophthalmology residency at the Medical College of Georgia, where she distinguished herself through numerous peer-reviewed publications, book chapters, and scientific presentations. Her research contributions earned multiple awards and reflect her ongoing commitment to advancing patient care.

Dr. Magazin subsequently completed a prestigious two-year fellowship through the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS), one of the nation’s most selective oculofacial plastic surgery fellowships, with fewer than 30 surgeons accepted each year. Dr. Magazin specializes in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the eyelids, brows, face, orbit, and lacrimal (tear drainage) system. She also offers nonsurgical facial rejuvenation using neurotoxins (Botox®, Xeomin®, and Dysport), dermal fillers, and laser resurfacing.
