
Dr. Bonnie Wessler is a board-certified optometrist with more than a decade of experience in eye care. She earned her undergraduate degree from Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Florida, before beginning her career as an ophthalmic technician with the United States Air Force. Her experiences caring for patients sparked a passion for optometry and inspired her to pursue advanced training in the field.
Dr. Wessler received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the InterAmerican University of Puerto Rico School of Optometry and completed a residency in Ocular Disease and Specialty Contact Lenses at Massachusetts Eye and Ear in Boston, a teaching hospital affiliated with Harvard Medical School. She received advanced training in the diagnosis and management of Ocular Disease as well as specialty contact lens fitting, including Scleral, Rigid Gas Permeable, and Hybrid Lenses.
She enjoys caring for patients of all ages and managing a wide variety of eye conditions. Dr. Wessler-Marino believes that the best eye care begins with listening, and takes pride in understanding each patient’s unique visual needs, lifestyle, and goals to provide personalized care and treatment recommendations.
Having attended college in St. Petersburg and now practicing in Florida, Dr. Wessler is proud to serve the community she has called home for many years. She builds lasting relationships with her patients and helps them maintain healthy vision throughout every stage of life.
