
Brian Roberts, O.D., is an optometrist at The Eye Institute of West Florida, serving patients in Largo and St. Petersburg. He prescribes glasses and contacts, and diagnoses and manages a wide variety eye conditions.
Dr. Roberts was born and raised in Clearwater, FL. He earned his first bachelor’s degree at the University of Central Florida in hospitality management. He went on to simultaneously earn a second degree in vision science and a Doctor of Optometry with honors from Nova Southeastern University.
Dr. Roberts completed his residency program at Nova in Primary Eye Care with emphasis in binocular vision. Subsequently, he was an assistant professor and clinical instructor at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry. He returned to his hometown and has practiced optometry in Pinellas County, providing comprehensive eye care for his local community.
He is an active member of the Pinellas County and Florida Optometric Associations. Outside of his career, he enjoys cooking and spending time with his wife, daughter, and dogs.
