Patient Portal Access

Patients have 24/7 access to their confidential information from our secure patient portal. This portal access is secure and meets all compliance requirements outlined by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) of 1996. The MyPatient Visit (MPV) patient portal links directly to your electronic medical record allowing you to access for real-time medical information.

By utilizing electronic medical records, we and are able to offer you the convenience of entering your demographics, medical history information, and policy consents and authorizations online prior to your appointment and at your leisure. You may also view a Summary of prior office visits online.

Portal Account Creation Instructions

Upon scheduling your appointment, you should have received an email and/or text message with a link to create your MyPatient Visit (MPV) account. If you did not receive a message to create your account, please call (727) 581-8706 or email appointments@eyespecialist.com to request a new account creation link.

We’ve made it easier than ever for you to pay your bill online. Just following these easy steps:

  1. Click here to access the bill pay portal
  2. Provide your patient *account number, last name, and payment amount
  3. Click “Validate” to verify the transaction

*Your patient account number is located on your statement.

If you are experiencing sudden pain, sudden loss of vision and/or sudden onset of flashes or floaters, at (727) 581-8706. Please do not message, email or request a call back after hours as messages may not be received until the following business day. If you are experiencing an emergency, please call 911.

If you forgot your username for MPV (MyPatient Visit), please follow these steps to recover it:

  1. From the Login Page, Click the link “Need help with Login?”
  2. From the “FORGOT LOGIN CREDENTIALS” Page, select the “Forgot Password” option.
  3. Follow prompts and verification process to complete.

MyPatient Visit, also known as the Patient Portal, allows patient’s to access and update a variety of information regarding their health care. Each section allows for different features and are broken down as follows:

myInfo Section:

  • Patient Information: Fill out your Patient Demographic information
  • Insurance Information: Fill out your insurance information

MyDocuments Section:

  • Document Summary: View, download, transmit and email out
    • Clinical Summary Documents on file
    • Patient Documents on file
  • Forms: Fill out and complete forms required for patient visit.

myMessages Section:

  • Send and Review Messages: A way to securely send and receive messages from you care provider(s)

myAccounts Section:

  • Connect to a different practice: Allows you to connect to your other care provider that is using MPV
