Kevin C. Greenidge, M.D., M.P.H., FACS, Dr. Greenidge's distinguished academic career includes his appointment as Professor and Chair of Ophthalmology at Downstate Medical School in New York, his investment as the first Richard C. Troutman, M.D., Distinguished Chair in Ophthalmic Microsurgery and his service on the Board of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, receiving their Honor Award, as well as, their Senior Achievement Award for scientific contributions.

He is an Associate Examiner of the American Board of Ophthalmology. Dr. Greenidge has lectured on glaucoma throughout the world and is known for his successful surgery in infants and the treatment of complex and difficult glaucoma cases.

is a fellowship-trained, board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in glaucoma. He is an accomplished leader in his specialty and joined The Eye Institute of West Florida in 2005.
